Actor George Clooney is making some shocking confessions regarding the Friends actor Matthew Perry who was also his good friend.
Clooney left a lot of people dumbfounded when he alleged how the actor struggled while filming for the Friends show. And this whole time people assumed incorrectly that he was happy but in reality, it never brought him joy.
The news comes just one day after we saw the late star’s autopsy results be released. This is where high levels of ketamine were ruled out to be a major factor that led to his passing away, alongside drowning. And while no type of foul play was suspected, it was just tragic for so many people to see such claims coming out.
The coroner’s office spoke about how the levels were comparable to that seen in a surgical patient. And many couldn’t help but wonder if the star was sober before his death or still struggling to stay clean.
Now, Clooney’s allegations are also making a few people in the industry upset as not everyone feels he’s in the right place to speak on the subject.
Fans were heartbroken to learn their famous character from the hit television series Friends was just not enjoying his job. Each day was called out to be a struggle for him, Clooney mentioned. And now this has raised another huge question in people’s minds.
His addiction to alcohol and drugs made it just so difficult for him to go on, another source added. And while the family is yet to speak on the matter as they request privacy during this period of mourning, it’s starting a whole new debate.
Clooney says a very younger version of Perry would always come to him and other big names in the industry for advice.
He always wished to be on a sitcom and when he landed one of the best ones in the world, he was not content. It failed to bring him joy or peace and that was a major problem, the 62-year-old star added.
