China is currently experiencing a sudden rise in infections related to a respiratory virus that has overwhelmed many of the country’s hospitals.
This is why the nation was advised to adopt emergency measures on a timely basis as growing public concerns are causing panic about an outbreak around the globe.
The virus is known as HMPV or human metapneumonovirus which sent cases spiraling around the country’s northern province this winter season.
This was especially true in young adults where some called it scary but not deadly. However, it has come just five years since the world was first alerted about the sudden emergency of the novel coronavirus in Wuhan. Some people are concerned about China, and then a massive global pandemic will be declared soon afterward.
However, the country says things are under control and it’s not a new virus. It also shared how it was safe to travel despite advice to close the borders to prevent the spread of the infection.
The news comes after the US issued a new mandate for wearing masks and some were stunned in terms of what was going on after doctors warned of a possible quad demic due to a rise in respiratory infections.
