Team Kansas City Chiefs need no introduction whatsoever but what happens when you have top players in the lineup who get the coldest welcome after entering the stadium?
Some of the leading stars on the squad were pelted with snowballs from angry Bills fans who did not wish to showcase a warm attitude when the team arrived. Instead, they became violent and abusive and started to throw ice-cold stones in their direction.
This includes Patrick Maholmes who was not happy and expressed his thoughts on the matter.
While the Chiefs did end up taking revenge for the acts on their terms by winning, this was uncalled for, another person explained. Winning and losing is a part of the sport, another person added. “It’s all about being honest with yourself”- a fourth mentioned.
The players were said to be so upset that they mentioned loud and clear how this was so not cool. “Who even does this? We have had enough and we are here to have fun, nothing more or less. It’s time you guys started to respect your father!”- a third explained.
And just like that, the Chiefs’ team spoke about how a little respect goes a long way in this world.
The same kind of disrespect was shown to singer Taylor Swift. She was similarly called out for making her way to the stands to watch and support Kelce’s team play and win.
Travis Kelce spoke up about the matter and said it’s just wrong for so many reasons. “Nobody deserves to be treated in this manner. Show a little kindness”- he concluded during his recently held podcast interview.
But Chiefs fans did not come slow. They said it was time that people stopped hurling their emotions at others. “You do not do this, no matter what. You can’t pelt your daddy who whooped your backside in a sport”- do you agree?
