A terrifying tragedy recently unfolded in Wisconsin where a 19-year-old college student, Hannah Glass, passed away from a serious allergic reaction.
The incident arose when the student indulged in a brownie that was created by her best friend.
Since the college-going student was allergic to gluten, she was provided an alternative in the form of gluten-free goodies that entailed roasted peanut flour.
The friend was from the women’s campus group who gave it to her and knew that it would be good as no gluten. Little did she confirm about her allergies that killed her instantly.
The victim’s father shared more about how his daughter knew instantly that something was not quite right. She took some bites and knew something was wrong. Therefore, she took out her epipen and for a while she was okay but things went from bad to worse.
She started to suffer breathing issues and her hands were covered with hives.
She called her parents immediately, requesting help but it was all in vain. She threw up and while lying down, her right lung collapsed. Now, her family is grieving the sudden and shocking loss related to her death.
