Choosing what to wear to a wedding is never easy but one woman sparked a major debate online when it was revealed that she would be donning the color black.
Netizens were appalled and they considered it wrong for many reasons at the top of the list was the fact that it was a hue reserved for funerals.
The woman says she was surprised that people were so negative about the color of her attire. She never intended any harm with the choice of hue. It was just a tone that she felt looked good on her and went well with her skin tone and complexion.
She also revealed how black makes women look slim, trim, and oh-so sophisticated. Therefore, she just couldn’t relate to why people were behaving in this manner.
But netizens were so divided over the situation. They claim to be appalled at the behavior put in front of them. They said that black shouldn’t be used for celebratory events like weddings.
Instead, it should be reserved for events that involve grief and sadness like a funeral event. All in all, they felt this woman was right for feeling the heat and she should not be the one complaining.
The anonymous female did try to explain to her haters how she did understand why she was being bashed but it was not a decision she made based on the likes of promoting grief at someone’s biggest day in their life.
All in all, she was just appalled at how much hate she continued to get on the matter.
She further went on to reveal how it’s not okay for some people to keep on passing judgments, despite knowing the truth. And for them to claim she was out there to ruin someone’s marital bliss with her clothing was so ridiculous in her book.
