It was a nightmare come true for one grieving husband after his wife ended up taking her own life before his eyes.
As per reports from local media outlets, the terrifying and tragic incident took place on the 36th floor of a New York Building, which is reportedly where the wife ended up jumping out to her death.
The grieving husband was identified as Brian Page who explained that the deceased was not only his wife but his lover and soulmate. The pair had a beautiful family with two young kids and he never in his wildest imagination something of this extremity taking place.
“It just does not make any sense to me. Why would she, I don’t understand. I don’t know how to put it into words. I am completely lost. This should have never happened”- he continued.
The couple were reportedly living on the Upper East Side. When his wife fell to the ground, she slammed into the pavement and was said to have been suffering from severe medical injuries.
As a result, she died, leaving him numb with grief and at a complete loss for words. “Why would she? We had the loveliest bond. I feel like I am living in a nightmare. Nothing can be worse than losing your partner, she was my word”- the grieving husband mentioned.
An investigation has been launched regarding this matter and people are just baffled as to why a loving woman with the most beautiful family would act like that.
The NYPD is also trying to come to terms with the scenario and why the incident arose in the first place. The significant injuries that led to her death pointed to how she had jumped from the highest point of the building.
Despite paramedics arriving on time, they just could not save her. She was said to be clinging on to her life but after being rushed to a nearby hospital in New York City, she was pronounced dead on arrival.
