Actor Ian Ziering was recently pictured consoling his crying daughters and rushing to their aid after he was attacked by a gang of masked bikers on New Year’s Eve.
According to reports from local media outlets, the terrifying ordeal took place in Los Angeles where the Beverly Hills 90210 alum could be seen running across the street to see his daughter Mia and wrap his hands around her while consoling her.
She started to ask her dad if he was okay and then began to cry, embracing him tightly.
The brawl did take a lot of people by surprise and he could be seen hugging and kissing her and making sure she was okay. Fortunately, both the star and his daughter were unharmed in the incident.
Meanwhile, one rep for Ziering did not return the requests of media outlets for details on what the reason could have been.
It is just shocking how the details unveiled so far raised so many concerns regarding the degree of unlawfulness taking center stage right now. The riders came in mini motorized bikes and swarmed the star’s vehicle from all directions on Hollywood Boulevard.
This prompted the Ziering star to exit his car and begin throwing punches. It is still not clear if one of the riders clipped Ziering’s car before the altercation ensued into something more physical. But he is believed to have also thrown a few punches in their direction that knocked them down to the ground.
Bystanders stood in silence and watched from a distance, refusing to step in as they all feared for their lives. The 59-year-old star says he ran into hiding as he just couldn’t come to terms with why or by whom he was being attacked.
The star has two daughters that he shares with his former partner Erin Ludwig. The duo split up in November 2019, after just nine years of marriage, and then finalized the divorce in October 2022.
