The International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant for the Russian Head of State, Vladimir Putin.
Sources from local media outlets were quick to mention how the arrest warrant was issued in regard to the war crimes committed in Ukraine. Hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians were killed as a result of this, sources have gone on to mention.
The news comes after a sweeping investigation was conducted where they found the Russian president guilty of such behavior.
They spoke about how an entire war was done against Ukrainian civilians and it was a barbaric act that really needed to be condemned to the highest degree.
The court was seen speaking about how the Russian President is responsible for all the turmoil and destruction that has taken place in the one-year period.
From human loss to loss of assets, peace, and actions that go against human rights- he was outlined to be guilty of it all. But one of the biggest crimes of them all that he’s getting the blame for has to do with the abduction of children.
The warrant was also respectively issued after sources have spoken about the arrest of Maria Alekseyevna Lvova-Belova. She is the Russian Children’s Rights Commissioner.
But it must be remembered how despite the arrest warrants being issued, they will now be left to the international community. If the latter chooses to have them implemented, great. But if not, then there is nothing that can be done.
“The ICC is doing its part of work as a court of law. The judges issued arrest warrants and the execution all depends on the cooperation of the intentional community”- it went on to reveal.
Putin was also called out for other leading atrocities including how he ordered his forces to bomb an entire maternity hospital that still had patients inside.
