After attacking car dealerships and famous art masterpieces across Europe, climate activists are back and their next target was Madame Tussauds.
Startling video footage showed ‘Just Stop Oil’ activists smearing chocolate cake across King Charles’ waxwork model at the famous tourist attraction.
Horrifying video footage of the incident has taken the world by storm. And that’s when activists could be seen smearing the wax figure belonging to the King of Britain with chocolate cake.
Shocked visitors were terrified at what was going on and they decided to watch from a distance while security officials rushed to the scene.
The pair were identified as Eilidh McFadden who is a 20-year-old that hails from Glasgow. Meanwhile, the other was 29-year-old Tom Johnson who hails from Sunderland.
During the early hours of the morning, the Met confirmed the news of the duo’s arrests while condemning the attack as beyond tragic.
Similarly, charges of criminal damage were also seen being filed against their name, as confirmed by local media outlets.
This is the latest event in the lost list of mishaps taking place in terms of disruptive stunts by a group of individuals who arrived center stage to protest against not doing enough to control crucial matters like climate change.
Thankfully, they didn’t seem to have glue with them like the rest of the previous protesters who glued their hands onto specific objects or simply to the floor.
Source also spoke about how there is plenty of evidence of how the current group was getting funding from rich people in the US.
Right before they covered the wax figure of King Charles with cake, they were seen blurting out in bold terms, ‘This is a time for action!’
