A mother says she was mortified after her young daughter came back home from school in a totally different outfit than what she went out in.
The child who is just five years old was forced to change by the school’s administration because they felt her outfit was inappropriate. But the mother is baffled as she cannot even begin to imagine what was wrong with the attire.
The mom named Emily Stewart says that when she sent her daughter to school, she never imagined in a million years that she would come back in an attire that was different from what she was currently wearing.
And if that was not brutal enough, the note being sent out by the school about the dress being so inappropriate infuriated her and even confused her more.
“They told me my daughter’s body needed a coverup! I was mortified, this girl is 5 years old. How could anyone say something like!”- the mother added.
Putting up clicks of her daughter online, she even went as far as asking netizens if they saw anything wrong because she clearly didn’t and now it was bugging her.
The mother adds how the school’s nurse had taken her daughter into her office. And the reason had nothing to do with her daughter being sick or getting injured.
In fact, it was related to making her change because the admin felt she may be showing off too much skin for her age. And they deemed that to be unacceptable.
The mother mentioned how flabbergasted she became over the ordeal. She just didn’t know what to say and didn’t wish to criticize her daughter’s school a lot.
But what she did hope for was to send the right message to other parents. And that had to do with questioning people when they were wrong because it’s necessary.
