Terrifying reports are speaking about three people getting injured after a small plane crashed into a raceway in California on Sunday.
The LA County Fire Department explained how the plane which was a Piper PA-32 crashed at about 11:10 am at the In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip.
Three passengers were transported to the local area hospitals with moderate to severe injuries as a result of the aftermath of the crash.
The incident arose at the NHRA finals and that’s when the racing event was forced to go on hold.
The aircraft was a fixed-wing single engine that featured six seats and was trying to land at the Brackett Field Airport that’s located in La Verne. But it ended up crashing into the large RV and destroyed two giant pickup trucks as reported by the Daily Bulletin.
The airplane hit several vehicles on the ground but there were no bystanders that were injured as a result of this.
They are now getting treated at a nearby hospital while no fatalities were reported as a result of this crash. For now, investigations are taking place to determine the reason for the crash as flight tracking data showed how the plane took off from Apple Valley at 10:40 am on Sunday.
