The winner of this year’s Miss Universe Competition is Denmark’s Victoria Kjær Theilvig.

The stunner was crowned the 73rd winner for the grand event and accepted the grand honor with smiles and tears of joy.

Kjaer is an animal protection advocate who works in the diamond-selling business. She beat out first runner-up Miss Nigeria and second runner up Miss Mexico to get the glamorous crown and prestigious honor.

The event was a glitzy evening full of world-famous names from the world of showbiz as all participants put their beauty, intelligence, and skills on display.

This is the first time that Denmark has received the honor of winning a Miss Universe event, making Kjaer’s victory even more sweet for her home country.

 

The event was held at the Mexico City Arena indoors which features a capacity to hold up to 20,000 people.

The audience was full of supporters who could be seen rooting for their country and waving flags for the country that they were supporting.

As per organizers, more than 167 participants took part in the grand event which also featured wonderful performances from local and international artists.

This year, some nations were represented for the first time and that really made this grand evening worth celebrating.
