Now, we are hearing more news about how so many news anchors are being praised for donning One Love armbands. These are designed to show solidarity and respect for the LGBTQ+ community.

One such reporter who was applauded for such behavior was Alex Scott. She received heaps of praise for the ordeal while being present on the field to report the match between England and Iran that is scheduled to be played today.

The famous presenter stood on the side of the pitch while boldly and defiantly donning the symbol that people call out as solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community.

Be it Facebook or Twitter, she was praised all around. Moreover, one fan was even seen speaking about how she deserved the status of being a legend. Others lashed out at FIFA and explained to them what true spirit in the name of humanity looked like and this was the perfect example of just that.

The news comes after fans hailing from England and Wales opted to not wear such anti-discriminatory armbands.

It’s quite interesting actually because both The Three Lions and Wales mentioned via a joint statement from a series of European nations that they were not interested in wearing such armbands.
