Jamie Lee Curtis just celebrated 25 years of being clean and sober after struggling with opioid abuse.

The leading star says she has been sober for years, after struggling with substance abuse.

Curtis commemorated a major milestone in her life and that had to do with her sobriety journey. The star held up a stunning ring featuring her initials and words, adding how proud she was of herself today.

Captioning the image with the lines, ‘one step at a time’- the actress made it very clear to the world how she was so happy with her baby steps and right now, no one can stop her. “The best feeling in the world has to do with the fact that I can say proudly that I am achieving my goals”- she continued.

Curtis opened up about how she is in this feeling of being on her own but with the world’s support behind her.

The Freaky Friday star went on to add a few terms of encouragement and love for all of those in this world. “If you happen to be in the same situation as me, please understand. Life is not easy but with the right decisions, you can really go ahead and achieve anything because it’s possible”- she continued.
