Trevor Noah has reportedly sued a New-York based surgeon and hospital for negligence after suffering from a botched surgery that he underwent last year.
According to local media reports, The Daily Show host has filed a mega lawsuit in New York’s Supreme Court, adding how he suffered from serious personal injuries due to their unlawful actions.
The comedian has filed the case against the Hospital for Special Surgery, followed by an orthopedic surgeon that goes by the name of Dr. Riley J. Williams.
The renowned host was quick to reveal how he suffered from the most carelessness when it came down to treating and caring for him in a skillful manner.
Local media outlets revealed how the incident took place in November of last year.
Meanwhile, the exact details of the lawsuit stated how the medical team failed to use an array of accurate diagnostic tests and also made blunders when it came down to prescribing him proper medicines. Also, the lawsuit alleges how the doctor failed to discontinue the other medications that he was reportedly taking.
As a result of their negligence, the 37-year-old celeb suffered from severe and painful personal injuries, followed by mental anguish and an extreme loss of his life’s enjoyment.
On the other hand, a representative from the alleged hospital has gone on to speak to People Magazine, adding how all the accusations being put forward by Trevor Noah are not only baseless but meritless as well.
While the lawsuit fails to specify the exact type of surgery that the South African-born star underwent, it did state how he was a patient of Dr. Williams from August 25th to December 17th, 2020.
In addition to that, the star claims that he was forced to prevent from engaging in his daily activities and occupation due to the severity of the injuries that he suffered.
