Chris Martin and his fiancee Dakota Johnson have opted to call off their engagement for good after confirming a split to media outlets.
The frontman from the hit band Coldplay who first started to date the star in 2017 went viral when he proposed to her soon after that.
Now, the pair have confirmed that their relationship is over and there is no turning back. ‘We should opt to move on’- the star went on to reveal.
Meanwhile, the 34-year-old actress was pictured this past weekend without her emerald green engagement ring. She was seen walking her dog in the Malibu area where she once lived with the singer.
While she was always seated at the front row in all Coldplay concerts, that’s no longer going to be the case anymore after this split. Martin is said to be in Munich, Germany as he continues to the European leg of his band’s world tour.
The duo did have a brief split in 2019 which was reportedly due to the star singer forcing her to have kids with him. Soon after that, they did get back together.
Specualtions about the duo’s breakup have been making the rounds for quite some time now when one woman posted on social media that the star was indeed a singer after he gave her a lift but now, their reps are confirming the news in public.
