Meryl Streep’s daughter Louisa Jacobson Gummer just came out as a lesbian.
She chose to bring her girlfriend out for the first time to introduce fans and family members.
Lousia explained through a new post on social media how she was beyond blessed to be entering this new phase and journey of her life.
She captioned this with a second slide featuring the headline, ‘We’re entering a joyful era of lesbian fashion’ and that took a lot of people by surprise.
One of the images featured a Victorian painting that centered more around the poet’s intense love for women while another had to do with graffiti put on the wall which read, ‘live, laugh, lesbian’.
A few of the images also featured Gummer’s lover who is named Anna Blundell. She happens to be a renowned producer and some fans were quick to recognize her.
The star’s mother is said to be one of her closest friends and biggest critics and she has always shown nothing but love and support for her.
Right now, the duo are on the same page and while the news was not an easy pill for anyone in the family or close friends circle to swallow, they are trying to deal with it to the best that they can.
