A dedicated mother is so eager for her daughter to be famous that she began planning her route to stardom before her birth.
Nicole, 35, a single mother who runs a Botox and Beauty salon, wanted her daughter, Penny, 6, to go on a show such as The X Factor and become a pop star, actor, or presenter someday. That’s why she is ensuring that her little daughter does everything possible to get there.
Nicole said that before Penny could walk, she started wearing her high heels and lipstick. Penny’s schedule every week is tight with the little girl doing two hours of circus school, where she learns how to use silks and poles.
It also includes six hours of singing and acting, two hours of gymnastics, an hour of photography, and three hours of musical theater. The dedicated mom makes sure that Penny follows a strict routine every day making her daughter wake up at 7:30 am and be in bed at 7:30 pm.
She only let Penny play if she finished all her celebrity skills training. Penny needs to make sure that she did every set of training her mom has prepared before she let her use her iPad or play with her toys.
Nicole said: “If Penny decided to become a doctor I’d shed a silent tear, but hopefully, I’ve crafted her enough that she shouldn’t want to be, and she will want to be a performer. I want Penny to excel in whatever it is she does, but I’d hate for her to work in an office every day.”
She continued: “That’s not how anybody should live. I wish I was pushed more as a child, and I think other moms should push their kids more if they show talent. I have a music room at home, with a green screen and recording studio, so we do all sorts of things, from singing practice to improvisation,” she added.
After the first lockdown, Nicole took Penny out of mainstream school so she could focus full-time on making her a star. Nicole says: “I don’t think academic work is important, but I do push reading and writing. We read a book in the morning, and one at night, but she’s always in bed at 7.30 pm because she needs her rest.”
Nicole dropped out of school at 14 with no qualifications but after many auditions, she got a lucky break. She became a backing dancer in music videos before signing up with talent agencies which led to presenting jobs on TV channels such as Sky Country Music.
She says: “I knew one hundred percent that I wanted any child of mine to follow in my footsteps. I had it all planned while Penny was in my belly.”

She explained: “She has an electric guitar and a piano and will start lessons when she’s seven because that’s when kids are more receptive to learning.”
The proud mom says: “I hope that Penny will go to one like Sylvia Young, where Rita Ora went. Hopefully, she will get a scholarship or a bursary, but if not, I’ll find a way to make it work. I spend most of my money on Penny, and I would do whatever it takes to make sure that she became successful in life.”
She continued: “I’d like her to do some modeling or start auditioning for parts in the West End or for TV. I’d love to see her on shows like The Voice or X Factor, anything that might get her a record deal.”
“Either she gets signed or I lose my sanity. We put so much time and effort into Penny’s dream, we’d both be so disappointed if it didn’t work out. I know Penny can make it big. She’s already got all the sass,” she added.
