Prince William made sure his father King Charles was aware of how much he meant to him as the next in line to the throne shared an adorable throwback in honor of Father’s Day.
The image was said to feature the very young but beaming William and his father Charles who were seen playing together.
The Prince shared an image of him playing football with the King to mark the special occasion and it was clear to many how the father-son bond has been strong for so long.
Taken on June 12, 1984, the pictures show the very young and beaming William and Charles having an absolute blast with one another.
He captioned it with Happy Father’s Day and it was so wonderful and heartwarming to see William’s sign on the post.
Charles appeared dapper in his grey suit, complete with a shirt and tie. It was this year that William gained a brother who was born in September.
