Actor Nicky Katt has reportedly passed away at the age of 56.
The star was famous for his roles in movies like School of Rock and Dazed. The tragic news of his death was shared by media outlet TMZ on Saturday by his attorney, John Sloss.
The attorney represented the star and also shared some further details surrounding Katt’s death and mentioned how there is no cause of death to be disclosed at this moment in time.
The news has sent shockwaves in the industry as fans and colleagues of the star were quick to post tributes in his honor.
The late star started off his career in the movie industry when he was only a child and would eventually take on several villainous roles like Time to Kill.
He similarly played roles like Clint Bruno in Richard Linklater’s comedy movie Dazed and Confused, which also featured stars like Matthew McConaughey and Ben Affleck.
Over the years, the celeb was seen working alongside other celebs such as George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Whoopi Goldberg, and Alicia Silverstone.
Katt was born in South Dakota on May 11, 1970, and nearly 10 years later, he made an acting debut. In 1992, the actor took on the role of a waiter in the movie Sister Act, which featured Whoopi Goldberg and Wendy Makkena.
