Terrifying and tragic reports are speaking about the death of a young schoolboy during the Christmas holidays.
According to sources from local media outlets, he passed away after suffering a serious allergic reaction to food that his loving granddad had prepared for him.
The family stated that the granddad forgot that the boy suffered from a nut allergy. Therefore, the meal served did have a glaze for meat featuring nuts.
The 12-year-old suffered from a fatal emergency condition and was therefore rushed to a nearby hospital as per reports from the family.
Cason Hallwood just could not make it out alive. He was having difficulty breathing and just collapsed after the incident and despite efforts from medical experts, they just couldn’t save him in the end.
The horrifying ordeal was witnessed by his mother, father, and grandparents. The mother explained how she did everything she could think of to try and save him.
This includes administering him with an EpiPen. She shared how the child suffered from asthma and even had the worst allergies to nuts. He directly ended up in a respiratory situation and then a cardiac arrest.
The whole family shared how this was the most devastating situation for them as they grieve the loss.
