Wearing her stunning bridal dress, Christe Chen’s beautiful pictures are the last memory that her friends and loved ones have of her after she got married to her dream partner.
But life was never destined to be a bed of roses for the pair whose honeymoon saw her parents’ worst nightmare come to life.
The duo jetted off to the Fiji islands in the South Pacific. Tragically, Christe never got back home after the hotel staff stumbled upon the most shocking scenes inside the bathroom of their villa.
The couple were reportedly spotted fighting by other tourists the night before, and they were both said to be very drunk. They returned to their villa but never showed up for breakfast the next day.
This had the staff worried, and therefore they knocked on the door, only to find Christe’s battered body lying on the floor.
She was abused, and blood pooled in all directions. Sources shared how her husband reportedly had kayaked off to a nearby island to cool off, but no one knew what he was capable of. Her body was so battered that it could not be embalmed and the decision was taken to cremate it in Fiji, with loved ones seeking justice. Her husband Dawson was handed a life sentence.
