A climate group has taken responsibility for the splashing of paint and vandalizing of Elon Musk’s Tesla dealership in Montreal.

Activists sparked outrage when they hopped on over and decided to spray paint on the dealership’s exterior which was located in the city’s west.

Montreal police arrested a young man and woman at the dealership on Decarie Boulevard in the city’s Cote-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame-de-Grace borough.

The climate group Last Generation Canada says that it’s about time someone stood up to Musk who they claim is clearly destroying democracies without any kind of check and balance.

The same group says that they are tired of Musk providing advice and support to Donald Trump for government spending and programs that has led to a new trade war with Canada.

This includes raising the price of export goods leading to a direct hit to the country’s economy. If that was not enough, it was shocking and bizarre for them to see how Musk supported Trump’s idea of making Canada the country’s 51st state.

So many privately owned vehicles were targeted and dozens of protests have been held outside Tesla dealerships and factories for a week now, with shares of the company hitting a new low.

Musk has issued a statement since then, calling the attacks as domestic violence and unnecessary threats to public safety.
