Terrifying reports have confirmed the death of a young and loving college student.
According to sources from local media outlets, the victim was trying to enjoy some hiking and adventurous fun with her dad at the Yosemite.
She kept on telling him how her shoes were getting slippery. This was just seconds before she fell to the ground and died upon the terrible impact.
Grace Rohloff fell a staggering 200 feet down the treacherous Half Dome after losing her footing while going down the cables on the cliff.
She and her father Jonathan Rohloff were both said to be experienced hikers but they ended up slowing down on the descent to accommodate some less experienced climbers.
This caused them to get stuck in the rainstorm.
Rohloff watched in absolute horror as his daughter tumbled down to the ground and hit the sheer rock face that was present at the end of the descent.
Her father explained the moment-by-moment horror that he witnessed live, adding how helpless he became to see her just die before his eyes.
He spoke about how she just slid toward the right side of him and down a giant mountain. It all happened a bit too fast for his liking and that’s when he reached out for her hand but it was in vain. She had already gone and it was the end.
