Delivery drones by Amazon are coming to town but residents in California are not too happy with the news.
According to reports by local media outlets, so many people are expressing their concerns about the new venture by the leading delivery service in the US. And some are even going as far as mentioning that they’ll be shooting them down.
The news comes from a tiny quiet ranch town of Lockeford in California where so many residents expressed great concern over the situation. According to them, this area is going to serve as a testing site for Amazon’s highly unique and much-anticipated project but if you feel that this would be welcomed with open arms, think again.
Just the thought of having these drones buzzing over their heads has so many people in awe and the fact that some feel they just might be invading their privacy. Therefore, now, so many are expressing their outrage and concern about the situation.
“We had no clue that they would be buzzing over our heads. If we do see them, all we have decided is that we wouldn’t be hesitating one bit before we shoot them down”- stated another citizen of the area.
Some claim that Amazon is really trying to do everything to wreak havoc in their lives. “We are worried it’s a tactic that could spook our livestock and that’s some of our main source of livelihood”- claimed another.
The residents are also now approaching the leaders in the San Joaquin community and asking for a solution to the problem that they feel is a growing concern on their part.
While the authorities in the area have been made aware of the growing threats regarding the shooting down of the drones, it’s yet to be decided what plans they are making to help combat such a huge issue.
