What would you do if you had a sibling who made some unreasonable demands and then threatened to never speak to you again if they were not met?

We are certainly not speaking hypothetically but for real and this next story is the perfect example of what we mean.

One woman says she is beyond upset that her sister has made some very unreal expectations from her and she does not know what to do.

The sister says her lifelong dream has always been related to being a mother. But she never in a million years could imagine that doctors would one day tell her that it could never be possible. Her nightmare diagnosis haunts her each day and while some have suggested options like surrogacy or adoption, her heart is stuck on one thing.

She wants her sibling’s baby and feels that there is nothing like having a child that is your flesh and blood. And she just feels that it’s understood that her sister would agree.

“She can have more of her own. But this one I want, or I need. My world is incomplete right now. I cannot imagine what I would do if she said no. Because no is not an option”- the demanding sister explained.

The news has left the pregnant sibling and her husband at a standstill. They are baffled as to how and why anyone would find such a behavior to be alright.

“My husband and his family would never agree. I don’t think I would either. This is a huge sacrifice that I am not willing to make”- she adds.

Her sister has refused to talk to her until and unless she changes her mind. She wants her to know that the pain of being barren is like no other and for her to not give her a child is something that she feels is unfair and uncalled for. What do you think?
