A federal judge on Tuesday ordered the Trump administration to stop all efforts to try and arrest and deport a young 21-year-old student from Columbia University who took part in pro-Palestinian demonstrations.
The administration started to seek arrest warrants against the student who goes by the name Yunseo Chung, as per a lawsuit filed by her lawyers.

The judge overseeing the case shared how there was nothing to record here and also indicated how the arrest carried out was not necessary. Similarly, they found no evidence that showed she was any danger to the community or a risk to the country’s foreign policy.
At the same time, no evidence of any links of hers to any terrorist organizations was shared.

The young female is a legal resident and a prominent participant in the demonstrations taking place concerning Gaza on Columbia’s campus. She was arrested along with several other students this past month who protested at Barnard College, which is Manhattan University’s sister school.
