Actor Johnny Depp made a mega donation recently to a children’s charity hospital which was also said to have ties with his former partner Amber Heard.

According to local media reports, the donation comprised a staggering amount worth 670,000 British Pounds that was sent out to Perth’s Children Hospital Foundation and two others located in Los Angeles via non-fungible tokens. But this is definitely not the first time that we’ve seen the star pour his heart out for those in need.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor has previously made ample donations to a number of charities spread out across the UK, US, Canada, and Australia using NFTs.

It is believed that his former wife Amber Heard is also stated to have had ties with the children’s hospital located in Los Angeles.

During the explosive trial with Johnny Depp, the court heard how Amber Heard failed to donate the huge sum of money she gained from her messy divorce with Johnny Depp. But the star stated that she wasn’t to blame but the expensive libel feud with Depp was the actual reason.

For those who may not be aware, Amber Heard had decided to split her settlement amount between Los Angeles’ Children’s Hospital and the American Civil Liberties Union.

Last Wednesday, Johnny Depp’s group called ‘Never Fear Truth’ mentioned how they had made a staggering donation to the four charities and they posted the message across their public account on Twitter.

Non-fungible tokens is the name given to digital assets that are believed to best serve as symbolic representations of real-world objects such as art, music, videos, or games. They’re usually bought or sold online using cryptocurrency.

The group claims to have raised nearly $800,000 as a whole in donations with the help of a sale. Hence, the group added how grateful they were for being able to generate such a wonderful achievement.
