Rapper Daddy Yankee has just announced his retirement and this is not something that a lot of people saw coming.
The news was announced during the star’s recently held live performance and little did anyone realize that this was going to be his last concert.
But what had the world at a standstill regarding the news is the reason behind the endeavor. And that included his devotion to the Christian religion has caused him to take such a major step in his life.
Referring to it as the most important and major step of his existence, the star had the crowd in shock and tears while he performed in his hometown in Puerto Rico.
The news was baffling and so sudden and it made the entire venue at Jose Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan get upset but people still sent out love and best wishes and hoped the star well as he took on this new chapter of his life.
“We love you, and will always love you, no matter what!”- said one fan and the rest continued to put in their warm wishes regarding the matter.
“My people, this is such an important day in my life. And I am sharing this with you because life is about ups and downs and changes. We must accept it all and my goal is to live my life with a purpose”- he continued.
Everything was mentioned in Spanish and the speech went on to add how he always had this void in his life that he wished to fill. And now, he’s finally found the chance to do it and firmly believes it’s the right one.
The star even boldly admitted his good days of doing anything and everything he felt like without a care in the world was over. He was going to embark on being more forgiving and disciplined and follow the right path that he feels is a part of his religion as a Christian.
