A loving mother of two has reportedly passed away under the most tragic circumstances.
The mother reportedly held on to the police for eight minutes while reporting her former lover’s assault, an inquest jury just heard.
She passed away with her child in her arms and refused to let go of him, protecting him with her life until the very end.
Daniela Espirito Santo was told to dial emergency services for assistance and while waiting for someone to pick up, she just couldn’t pull through.
One coroner heard how Ms Espirito called the cops on several occasions regarding her partner Julio Jesus between May 2019 and her death in April 2020.
This one day before she passed away. Despite telling the cops that her ex-lover assaulted her, he was allowed to be free on bail.
This confused her. She feared for her life and in the end, her fears came out to be true.
He beat her up so badly, having no mercy for her or her children. She helplessly screamed but no one came to assist. He held his arm against her throat, depriving her of any air, killing her instantly.
Her little kids watched on in horror as nobody could come and save them.
