A high school senior ended up losing her whole family in a horror private jet crash that killed six people in upstate New York.
Anika Groff is the only surviving child of neuroscientist Michael Groff and urogynecologist Joy Saini, who were both killed in the crash alongside their two eldest children.
Karenna’s lover was also killed in the tragedy. Now, she’s left all alone, as heartbreaking tributes were announced after her parents and family left this world.
The school district where the kids went to school issued a statement following news about the sudden tragedy and the death of the family.
‘Two of our graduates and their parents and several friends lost their lives in the small plane crash in New York yesterday’- the statement went on to read.
‘Their lives ended far too soon, our hearts go out to their loved ones during this difficult time’- the message continued. Out of respect for the students who lost their lives, they are now requesting the community to honor their privacy during the deeply personal time so they can heal well.
