Dog The Bounty Hunter has paid a heartbreaking tribute to his co-star David Robinson after his sudden passing.
On Wednesday, Robinson died in his wife’s arms after collapsing suddenly during a work-related Zoom call.
As his wife since revealed, her husband was seemingly “very healthy,” leaving his family and friends in shock over his unexpected passing.
While sources claimed a stroke or a heart attack are the likely suspects, the official cause of death has yet to be determined.
Since the tragic incident, Dog The Bounty Hunter paid Robinson, who appeared alongside him in Dog’s Most Wanted, a heartfelt tribute.
“I’m shocked and saddened by the sudden loss of David Robinson, my right-hand man of many years. Until we meet again, brother,” he told TMZ.
Meanwhile, David’s wife, Brooke Robinson said: “David was very healthy and was on a work call in our dining room at home when he collapsed. Life-saving maneuvers were attempted and paramedics were called. David died in my arms.
“We ask again for time and space to grieve for the husband, father, brother and friend that was lost.”
Though sources implied a heart attack or a stroke could be responsible for her husband’s untimely death, Brooke refuted these claims.
Mr. Robinson appeared alongside Chapman in WGN’s 2019 TV show Dog’s Most Wanted.
The series featured ten episodes of the Dog and his team’s hunts for fugitives.
At the time of the filming, Chapman was preoccupied not only with his career but also with his late wife Beth Chapman’s battle with cancer.
Unfortunately, Beth succumbed to her disease and passed away at the age of 51 in June 2019.
