Singing sensation Dolly Parton has the most loving and supportive family out there today and this next story is proof of just that.
Dolly ended up turning plenty of heads recently when the celeb was seen showing up to the Thanksgiving Half Time show in a very skimpy cheerleader attire. And for someone her age, that was truly a bold and commendable act.
But not everyone adored the ordeal.
Some critics lashed out at the celeb and felt it was high time she acted her age because such clothing did not suit her. Others reminded Parton that she’s an absolute gem and the country’s icon. And for that reason, dressing up in revealing outfits like that one on Thanksgiving did not suit her one bit.
However, it was not all bad as some adored her courage, including fellow names in the industry like golf champion Paige Spiranac who says not everyone can pull off what Dolly ended up doing in the end.
Now, her own sister is fighting back, standing up for the 77-year-old and reminding critics that you cannot mess with someone of her caliber who has won the hearts of thousands around the globe, not just in the US.
Raunchy or not, her younger sibling felt the star had every right to wear whatever she intended to do and that the negativity of some people’s minds should never come in between her fashion choices or others related to life.
She similarly lashed out at hypocrites who praised others wearing even more provocative and controversial numbers but when it came down to her sister, they all started to attack her.
Stella Parton usually does not go off commenting in this style in public but it was clear that she was upset and felt the urge to stand up for Dolly who she adores.
