Following the performance, Dolly was praised by her fans for looking decades below her age in her revealing cheerleading outfit.

Critics, however, accused the singer of not dressing appropriately and not acting according to her age.

“She looks RIDICULOUS. And it was horrific lip-synching! She could have wore something similar but that looks classy for her age. She looks like a CLOWN,” someone fumed.

“Nothing against her but she shouldn’t be dressing like a teenager at 77,” another said.

A third complained: “I honestly don’t care what Dolly Parton does. I have no desire to tell anyone how to dress. However, if I were asked my opinion then I’d have to say no, she should dress her age. A 77 year old woman shouldn’t be dressing like that.”

Now, Stella has broken her silence and defended her sister from the haters saying her sibling looked “cute as hell” in her Dallas Cowboys outfit.

“I personally thought my big sister Dolly was cute as hell in her Dallas Cowboys cheerleading costume at the half time show on Thanksgiving,” the 74-year-old singer proudly said.

“To those of you being so critical of a 77-year-old kicking up her heels, I say f*** yourself. Shame on you not her.”
