Terrifying reports are speaking about the doomed passenger plane that came down in Brazil, carrying 62 passengers onboard.
As victims are ID’d, reports are speaking about how eight cancer doctors were among the 62 people who were killed in the tragedy.
The Brazilian airliner came plunging dramatically from the sky, and then struck the ground, before exploding into a massive fireball.
Six of the doctors were leading oncologists while two were resident medics, local media outlets have confirmed. They were all on their way from the home city of Cascavel and were going to attend a cancer conference in Sao Paulo when the twin-engine turboprop ATR 72-500 VoePass airliner crashed into a gated community.
All the passengers on board were killed and the country’s head of state was the first to break the terrifying news. Now, loved ones are traveling to the city to provide DNA samples so the bodies of those killed can be identified.
Eduardo Baptistella from the Regional Medical Council mentioned how the victims included eight doctors who had dedicated their lives to serving humanity
Investigations are taking place to determine what exactly caused the crash as no mayday call was made by the experienced pilot before the plane entered into a deadly spin before falling straight out of the sky.
