A hair stylist from Maryland is making heads turn with her shocking claims, including assault related to a 15-year-old client who she dragged across the floor of her shop.
Sources shared more details, including how the incident arose when the client tried to leave her salon without paying her dues, which included a total of $150.
Jayla Cunningham, who is 18, was then charged with second degree assault on the minor, right after the incident that took place inside the Prince George’s County, Maryland hair salon at the month’s start.
Court records also shared how she had just ended working on her client’s hair that included putting out a weave, but when it came down to payment time, she refused to pay her dues.
The client tried to defend herself by mentioning how she transferred the amount in full to her via the Cash App, but since the stylist didn’t get any kind of alert of this sort, she got upset and accused her of lying.
The fact that she grabbed her hair and hoodie so hard was startling, not to mention how she continued to drag her back in the building, leaving onlookers stunned.
Security camera showed her pulling the girl down the hallway before throwing her inside a room full of trash. She then yelled at her to stay on the floor while she got scissors to undo all the work she had done.
