A 21-year-old diver was miraculously spotted and rescued by loved ones after spending four hours alone in the sea.

Sources from local media outlets were quick to point out how the diver managed to survive despite the chilling temperatures and being all alone. But it was his destiny to be saved after his family led a search for his rescue operation.

The diver named Dylan says he was caught in the middle of a current in Florida and that forced him to separate from the rest of the group. And then before he knew it, he was all alone with no one to help him out.

“When I saw the sun go down, my heart literally sank. I am like what on earth just happened? It was pitch black darkness and the temperatures were awfully chilling. I kept telling myself that nothing can happen now and that this was my end”- he continued.

The miraculous recovery news is one that many called out as wonderful. But it was nothing less than a nightmare for the family who claims this was just not expected. “We cried, but we never lost hope. There were times that we did begin to think negatively but it did work out well for us in the end”- they explained.

It was Dylan’s own mother who reportedly saved him. She was the one who informed the officials about his sighting and that first moment of laying her eyes on him from a distance was the best feeling in the world, she adds.

“I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. This was just a miracle. It was undeniable on so many levels”- she continued.

It was smart of him to cling together two buoys which eventually resulted in the formation of a raft. And that is what really kept the veteran swimmer in a safe state, he adds.
