The daughter of Dubai’s ruler left many people stunned when she opted to announce her divorce through social media.
According to reports from local media outlets, she just had a child with him but that was not going to stop her from bidding him farewell from her life.
The Instagram account belonging to Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum who happens to be the Dubai ruler and UAE PM said she was divorcing her husband.
This is the first time that anyone has opted to do just that by going on social media and taking such a bold step in a conservative society and country.
But what left the world stunned was how she called out her man for cheating by mentioning the reason for the divorce was related to the fact that he had other companions.
“I hereby declare our divorce to you!”- the stunning princess posted whose family is said to be worth a whopping $18 million. She said it three times in bold terms, ‘I divorce you, I divorce you, I divorce you!’- and then went about concluding the message by stating, take care, and signing off as his former wife!
