Music icon Mariah Carey has just called her seven-year-long relationship with lover Bryan Tanaka quits.
The pair who were adored by millions of fans have opted to go their separate ways. As per reports from insiders, Tanaka was keen on starting a new family with the superstar.
However, Mariah Carey made it very obvious that having more children was not on her ‘to-do list’ and that is the reason why the legendary songstress has opted to bid farewell to her lover.
But some fans feel that was a selfish decision as there’s nothing wrong in having a family with someone that you’ve been in love with for so long.
Other insiders claim the huge age gap is also something that had been a leading factor for the duo. Tanaka definitely viewed things differently than his partner and being a father had always been a part of his dream.
But little did the 40-year-old realize that Carey, 54, was a stubborn cookie and would never oblige to his request for starting a family.
“He wants children but that’s not what she sees right now. She is just not there with him. He obviously got tired of waiting and is now on his own”- the unnamed source went on to add.
Tanaka and Carey have had a very unique bond, with Tanaka serving as Carey’s backup dancer for so long. The pair’s romance blossomed and Tanaka ended up moving in with her.
The rumors of the pair’s relationship began in trouble began when Carey was pictured taking her holiday vacation in Aspen solo. She was all smiles and surrounded by her close friends. However, her man was nowhere to be seen.
Tanaka was also seemingly not present in her famous Christmas tour for this year, which is carried out each year as a tradition for the superstar. And that further went on to fuel rumors about the pair’s split.
