Donald Trump has reportedly pulled off the most stunning political comeback of heroes after winning the 2024 US Presidential elections.
The Republican leader is now the first president in over 130 years to win a non-consecutive second term and only the second in history to have this honor.
His defeat of Vice President Kamala Harris marks a remarkable return for a twice impeached president who left the office in 2021 on the back of claims that he incited assault on the US Capitol Building and was before convicted during the year’s start on several counts of business fraud.
The 78-year-old will soon become the oldest president inaugurated, beating Biden’s record by five months. He pulled off the victory on a very memorable night, winning across key swing states of North Carolina, Georgia, and Pennsylvania.
