Leading celeb talk show host Ellen DeGeneres was seen breaking down into tears recently after recalling how a painful symptom ended up changing her perspective forever.
The star explained how she was in an incredible amount of pain and had no idea that it was related to the COVID-19 infection.
The COVID-19 pandemic that arose in the year 2020 was one such incident that really changed the world in more ways than one. Staying positive and optimistic is the name of the game, Ellen adds but sometimes, a few incidents do end up changing your life in a way that leaves you dumbfounded, she continued.
And this one just happened to be one of those ordeals, the star adds.
While fever, difficulty in breathing, shortness of breath, and coughing are some of the most common symptoms linked to the COVID-19 infection, some people were finding it awfully difficult to understand that a symptom like back pain could also be linked to the viral infection.
The host says she was really suffering from it big time and if she could turn back time, she would. But it just proved to be awfully disturbing for her in the end as she chose to bear the pain, not knowing what it was related to.
Ellen says she suffered from the virus and the aftereffects were chronic back pain. She kept quiet about it for so long but then chose to open up on how painful of a journey this has been so others are aware.
Hence, since her health was coming in the way, she knew that it was time to bring her journey to an end on the show and that was the point where she realized that the next season would be the final one for her.
