The world’s richest man saw a massive surge in his own fortune, taking his net worth to $304 billion due to the addition of $32.6 billion.

According to local media reports, Elon Musk’s giant leap in wealth allowed him to surpass the $300 billion mark which he had reportedly passed in the month of November, making him the first-ever person to have that achievement.
Forbes has gone on to reveal that the controversial billionaire who is known for his posts on social media continued to top the list for the world’s richest person.
As far as second place is concerned, Bernard Arnault, who is the French fashion CEO of LVMH, managed to score with a fortune that was $103.6 billion behind Elon Musk.
Meanwhile, third place went to Amazon found and ex-CEO Jeff Bezos, as recently revealed by Forbes.
The soaring stock market has Tesla’s name written all over it as the brand’s shares managed to skyrocket and that is what is responsible for the South African’s increasing wealth.
On Sunday, Elon Musk revealed how his electronic car manufacturing brand managed to deliver nearly 936,000 vehicles in the year 2021. And that is a projection that went above and beyond all analysts’ predictions. In the same way, Musk spoke about how 475,000 of his vehicles were built during the years 2014 and 2021.
According to Forbes, the shares of Tesla increased by nearly 13% while the company’s market capitalization surpassed the $1 trillion mark, just after it dropped below that particular level in the month of December.
The renowned electric car producer was also named Time Magazine’s Person of the Year for 2021. Moreover, since Elon Musk is the CEO of Tesla, he owns nearly 15.6% of his company’s stocks and he couldn’t be happier!
