Elon Musk proudly showed off a glimpse of his battling technique as he is getting ready for the epic fight with Mark Zuckerberg.
The Tesla CEO and the Meta CEO mutually agreed to a bout in the ring where the rivals will test their physical prowess and skills against one another.
Ahead of the $1 billion Las Vegas cage fight, Musk has shared photos from his training session with podcaster and computer scientist Lex Fridman who reportedly holds a black belt in jiu-jitsu.
In one of the viral pictures, the Tesla boss is seen pinning his trainer to the ground while gritting his teeth.
While Musk promises to be a fierce opponent, Zuckerberg himself is no stranger to martial arts. The Facebook founder discovered a passion for martial arts back in 2020 and has since won two medals in Brazilian jiu-jitsu competitions.
Fridman, who recently also sparred with Zuckerberg, said he was impressed by Musk’s “strength, power, and skill” after their practice match. Nevertheless, he has so far taken no sides and placed no bets against the Meta mastermind.
“I did an impromptu training session with @ElonMusk for a few hours yesterday. I’m extremely impressed with his strength, power, and skill, on the feet and on the ground,” Fridman said on Tuesday.
“It was epic. It’s really inspiring to see Elon and Mark doing martial arts, but I think the world is served far better if they train martial arts but not fight in the cage.
“That said, as Elon says, the most entertaining outcome is the most likely… I’m there for them, no matter what.”
The two billionaires have begun planning their $1 billion bout last week after Musk challenged Zuckerberg to a cage fight when the latter announced plans to launch a platform to rival Twitter.
Responding to Musk, the Meta CEO accepted the challenge, and the two allegedly initiated talks with Ultimate Fighting Championship President Dana White to organize the high-profile match.
