A celebrity stalker was arrested on Friday after allegedly breaking into Emma Watson’s dressing room.
The incident took place at the Brooklyn Navy Yard where the Harry Potter star was attending New York Fashion Week when 43-year-old Chad Michael Busto made his way into the private quarters at the venue.
According to the reports, Busto started screaming he wanted to marry the actress after making his way into the dressing room. He is also said to have terrified the models and makeup artists by demanding to speak with Watson.
“I want to marry Emma Watson. Let me speak to Emma Watson. Let me take a photo with Emma Watson,” the stalker screamed according to court documents.
After the altercation, Busto was taken into custody and charged with two counts of disorderly conduct and two counts of trespassing.
It was also revealed that at the time of his arrest, Busto already had an existing arrest warrant to his name over failure to get his GPS monitor affixed.
The news comes just weeks after Busto was apprehended by the police for going “door-to-door” in the Southampton neighborhood in an attempt to find Drew Barrymore.
At the time, it was revealed that the actress was not at home and that Busto has a lengthy rap sheet.
Just days before his attempt to contact Barrymore, Busto ambushed the actress during her panel discussion with singer Renee Rapp.
“Drew Barrymore!” he yelled as he approached the stage and attempted to get to the actress. “You know who I am. I need to see you at some point while you’re in New York.”
