They say there could be nothing better than technology but this next incident involving a pair of tourists is proof why you shouldn’t always rely on it.

Sources from local media outlets claim a pair of tourists did not know their way around Hawaii. Therefore, they thought making use of the trusted GPS device is just what they required to ensure they were on the right track.

But it appears that they should have not heavily relied on the tool so much because what they got in return was not only disappointment but absolute shock and awe.

They revealed how they were so close to death after driving their vehicle straight into the harbor. And it’s just a miracle how they were saved.

Witnesses who watched the incident unfold claimed they feared for the lives inside the car because this was a true incident of pure doom and nothing more.

“We are all pretty sure that nothing of this support was supposed to happen. It’s terrifying what occurred and we want everyone to know that tools are great but you’ve got to make use of your mind while driving and stay aware of everything around you”- they added.

It was a very dramatic turn for them as they were on their way to a vacation spot, arriving in the state for some exploration and sightseeing. But little did they know about this type of drama in store.

As per reports from The Washington Post, they just ended up driving the Dodge Caravan into the Small Boat Harbor. It was raining at that point in time. And one witness says she was trying to seek shelter when all of a sudden, a car plunged into the harbor, before her eyes.

Thankfully, they were buckled into their seats due to their seat belts. And if they weren’t it could have been a huge tragedy, the cops have confirmed. The couple is so grateful for the sailors who rescued them in the end, adding how it was the most expensive vacation of their lives.
