Inside sources are weighing in on Meghan Markle’s tour of Australia and how she hated every single moment spent with her husband Harry in the country, calling the tour pointless too.
The tour was reportedly conducted by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in the year 2018 and while plenty of Australians may have gathered around and showed their support and love for the Royals, Meghan was clearly not in favor of any of it.
The news comes as Meghan Markle’s views on the subject have been revealed in a book published by Tina Brown who has downright accused the Duchess of being more than ungrateful during her Australian tour.
But the journalist’s words aren’t just her opinions as plenty of the facts and figures mentioned are sourced from claims made directly by former employees working at the Royal Palace.
The writer who is based in the United Kingdom says in her biography that Meghan’s feelings about the tour, in general, were more negative than anything else. She felt there was no reason for she and Harry to be touring as there was no purpose attached.
Brown is known to have had close ties with Harry’s mom Princess Diana in the past and other royals and that’s why the book and allegations made against Meghan Markle are being looked upon as more true than anything else.
“She was seemingly unimpressed with everything that was happening there at that time. Her opinions about Australia aren’t exactly what many of the country’s citizens may have perceived that she felt”- the author went on to elaborate.
When Harry and Meghan arrived in Australia, they were greeted by thousands of Australian fans in the flesh who waited for hours to meet and greet the couple. But that did not go down too well with Meghan who struggled with grasping the concept or point of doing so.
“She failed to understand why certain things were set up in a certain manner. She hated it all and just found it hard to see why she and Harry had such a representational role during their tour”- the staffer explained to the author.
