56-year-old actor Nicholas Cage is more than delighted to announce how he and his 27-year-old wife Riko Shibata are expecting their first baby together.
The couple made heads turn in the past after it was revealed that despite sharing a massive age gap, they are madly in love.
Shibata is said to be Nicholas Cage’s fifth wife, who he claims is the one. “I think I’ve finally gotten it right”- the star mentioned in the past.
Surprisingly, the couple also gave out plenty of details surrounding the glad tidings. And that’s when it was revealed how they even have the name for their firstborn chosen.
The actor opened up like never before seen during a recent interview with GQ. He poured out his emotions with details about his personal life and how he was excited about his growing family.
Cage tied the knot with his wife in March 2021, which also happened to be the same month as the couple’s first anniversary.
The star from ‘Leaving Las Vegas’ has two other kids from his past relationships. This includes 31-year-old Weston with former partner Christina Fulton and 16-year-old Kal-El with former wife Alice Kim.
Many were shocked when the actor revealed how he carries an image of his unborn child with him, which is basically his wife’s ultrasound.
While speaking with the magazine he mentioned, “I think it is very sweet. It is like edamame or a tiny bean”- he added.
When the actor was questioned about his frequent marriages, he laughed it off by mentioning how he is a romantic individual. Hence, can’t help himself sometimes.
But he did reveal that this is his fifth and final time because he’s madly in love and this time he feels he has finally gotten it right.
“I really mean it when I say that it’s not happening again. This is it. That is it!”- he added.
