Singing sensation Katy Perry has finally broken her silence on her recent eye glitch incident that went viral online.
The celeb revealed a hilarious statement that sent fans into a frenzy about what really went on that night when her eyelid got stuck giving the image of a very awkward position.
Many felt Katy Perry was replaced by a robot as that’s what the viral images appeared to look like from a distance. It was hard for people to imagine any performer had their eyelid stuck in the manner she did and that too during a live performance on stage in front of thousands in attendance.
The video clips that continue to be surfacing online feature the star struggling immensely in terms of keeping her eyes open.
After a lot of her famous fans expressed these types of concerns, it was definitely interesting to see the pop star go about addressing the matter publicly and adding a little humor to the episode as well.
But there are certainly a lot of theories circulating about what really happened. One of the more popular ones included how the glue used to incorporate her false eyelashes happened to be so strong that caused her upper lid to stick to the lower. This is why she kept twitching like a robot.
“I am so convinced that Katy Perry’s eye video is just like my girl struggling with her lashes”, mentioned one person, adding how the new glue should have been tested beforehand to prevent such incidents from taking place.
Another person was seen echoing something similar and adding, ‘when the lash glue is not fully dry yet and you end up closing your eyes’.
Katy Perry laughed off all of the rumors speaking about how she was a robot. She says that if that was the case, all of her other gimmicks taking place while she was on stage wouldn’t have taken place either. This included beer coming out of her t*ts, which was again a shocker for some.
All in all, the performance was described to be whimsical by the starlet and she told everyone to relax and that she is fine and glitch-free right now. She also hoped to see them all next year for her concert where they can come to sing along by her side.
