Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could lose their remaining royal titles if Harry’s memoir proves to be too explosive for the monarch, warned a leading Royal Biographer.
Recent reports published spoke in detail about how the palace is on alert at the moment and there seems to be a lot of things riding on the book.
The famous memoir titled Spare is all set for its breakthrough release in January of next year. And the publishers have already promised readers that it would feature unflinching honesty and a lot of hard-won wisdom.
At the moment, both Harry and Meghan have lost their HRH titles and they will still retain the current Duke and Duchess of Sussex for their daily routines explained sources.
As far as the couple’s kids are concerned, well, they are entitled to be called the terms Prince and Princess, even though their HRH titles are still the topic of much discussion.
But royal biographer Tom Bower has warned how the memoir may put a complete end to any of the titles out there that the family is having trouble dealing with.
Speaking to The Sun, he mentioned how the book could be a huge hit or a major miss. “I imagine how King Charles has received a warning from the start about how any sort of retaliation in this manner wouldn’t be entertained”- he continued.
The ultimate and biggest consequence would be stripping the couple from their royal titles and although it seems like a very drastic measure, anything can happen and it can be on the cards.
“I do not know what else he can do. If it is as bad as I think then I think Harry and Meghan have really gone totally rouge”- he adds.
If King Charles III reacts by doing just that then he won’t be the first monarch in the recent past to do so. Hence, it’s a huge reality that could take the couple by storm, the royal biographer continued.
