Actress Katie Holmes was seen sporting a bruised face and eye while stepping out in New York City on Monday.
According to reports from local media outlets, Holmes tried her best to avoid the media stationed to get an up-close view of the actress.
She tried her best to cover her face and the injuries with a baseball cap but as per reports, that was in vain as her injuries were still very visible.
The Dawson’s Creek star opted to go makeup-free with her dark bruises under the left eye and another obvious swelling on the right side of her face.
The reason for her injuries was not known. Still, representatives from various leading media outlets like Daily Mail sent out questions on the matter for further clarification but have received nothing yet from her reps.
The celeb opted to wear a blue t-shirt with a cap and stepped out with her wet hair look in the city.
The news comes as her daughter is preparing to head for collection at Carnegie Mellon University in Pennsylvania which is a huge step for her.
For now, fans are concerned about the appearance of bruises as they look serious.
